“Shadow Box” - Awarded Best Director in Student Production Awards 2018
Rosebelle Easthom wrote, directed and starred in "Hidden Motives", a short film produced locally in Lima, Ohio. The cast and crew included all Ohio filmmakers and the film was supported by the Lima Creates Grant, which funds projects by emerging artists, like Rosebelle, to foster growth and creativity in the City of Lima. The story of "Hidden Motives" centers on two secret agents who must steal a rare and valuable ring before it gets stolen. Through the lasers, armed guards, and treacherous villainy, the two agents realize that they can't live without each other. The film was over 130% funded on Indiegogo and received by a sold out premiere at ArtSpace/Lima on August 16th, 2025. A subsequent showing was opened to accommodate more viewers that same night. "Hidden Motives" will be showing in film festivals throughout Ohio over the course of the next year. Wish us luck!
